The Following are 13 things or Behaviors that mentally strong people do not do, by Morin.

1. They don't waste time feeling sorry for themselves
Because if you feel sorry for yourself intensely, it means that you are creating the negative emotions, more hurts and broken relationships soon.
You have to set up that you are happy and appreciate what you have.

2. They don't give away their power
Whenever you feel losing energy and emotion, so your power is destroying then.  This time, other people will control you by some ways and your mind will be more weakness from time to time.
Oprah Winfrey that Morin raise up to mind empower the book reader because Winfrey was dealing with many bad situations but she set her mind that she will not giving away her power.  Finally she is very famous in this world.

3. They don't shy away from change
Morin said that Change has five stages, pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. We have to making changes without shying away from them prevents growth. Morin also said that "The longer you wait, the harder it gets," she says.

4. They don't focus on things they can't control
It is so true that Morin saying, "Rather than focusing on managing your anxiety, you try controlling your environment," You may take off your focus on things you can't control then your happiness will be increased, and many things in your life will be beautiful.

5. They don't worry about pleasing everyone
Morin lists four facts of pleasing people, waste time, get easily to be manipulated, it’s OK for others to be angry or disappointed, and the truly fact one is we can’t please everyone.
If you drop out of pleasing people format from your mind, you will be quality stronger one.

6. They don't fear taking calculated risks
Let’s see the Questioning lists from Morin on how to explore the risk. Because almost people are often afraid to take risks and Morin writes that A lack of knowledge about how to calculate risk leads to increased fear.
Ask yourself the following questions.
—What are the potential costs?
—What are the potential benefits?
—How will this help me achieve my goal?
—What are the alternatives?
—How good would it be if the best-case scenario came true?
—What is the worst thing that could happen, and how could I reduce the risk it will occur?
—How bad would it be if the worst-case scenario did come true?
—How much will this decision matter in five years?

7. They don't dwell on the past
No ones can change The past.  You have to prevent yourself from sinking to the past, but you should enjoy every single moments in the present and planning for the future as well.  Morin saying that actually, thinking about the past is still have the benefit for life, because we can take them as the lessens learned, explore the past experiences in new perspective.

8. They don't make the same mistakes over and over
We can learn from the mistakes, but lots of mistakes that is hard for keep more learning. Even the mentally strong people accept responsibility for the mistakes but they also create a thoughtful, written plan to protect the situations of mistakes come again and again.

9. They don't resent other people's success
I love this speech of Morin, focusing on another person's success will not pave the way to your own, since it distracts you from your path. So, becoming success person, you have not to focusing on others.  Just overlook your talents and abandon your values and relationships.

10. They don't give up after the first failure
Bear in mind that Thinking that failure is unacceptable or that it means you aren't good enough does not reflect mental strength. Morin writes "bouncing back after failure will make you stronger,"

11. They don't fear alone time
Sometimes, Alone can create a powerful experience to your thoughts and bring you reach to the goals.  Morin lists in her book about the benefits of solitude as the following.
—Solitude at the office can increase productivity.
—Alone time may increase your empathy.
—Spending time alone sparks creativity.
—Solitary skills are good for mental health.
—Solitude offers restoration.

12. They don't feel the world owes them anything
Morin says something about this item, "Life isn't meant to be fair. Sometimes, we have to deal with happiness moments but sometimes we have to deal with unhappiness as well.  Because of no one is entitled to anything.
You have to create these things for yourself that is better.  For example, focus on your efforts and accept criticism,  If you are still comparing yourself with others, you will only set you up for disappointment.

13. They don't expect immediate results
The mentally strong people are willing to wait the outcomes of expectation in realistic situations, so don’t be impatient because it will be raised up your stress and effect to the mental health.
Just keep your mind to the right processes, looking to your past until now, and admiring yourself as supporting.
